3. Folds of Honor Children’s Fund Scholarship

The Children’s Fund Scholarship program was established to provide primary and secondary scholarship assistance for dependents (Kindergarten – 12th grades) of our nation’s service members. By standing in the financial gap of the more than one million dependents adversely affected by war, Folds of Honor is honoring their sacrifice by educating their legacy.

  • North Carolina students in Kindergarten- 12th grade will be eligible for the Scholarship regardless of income.

  • Families must apply by March 2nd to receive priority consideration. More information about the application process will be available at https://k12.ncseaa.edu/opportunity-scholarship/ every January.

  • Scholarship funding is provided to help cover tuition and eligible educational expenses at participating non-public schools.

  • Families may apply even if their child has always been in private school or homeschool.

  • Award amounts are determined using a tiered household income scale.

  • Thousands of North Carolina families use Opportunity Scholarships each year.
