Elementary School Resources

Elementary School Distinctives

Academic Foundation

Our elementary program builds strong skills in language arts, writing, math, science, and social studies. Students are supported and challenged through developmentally appropriate instruction.

Special Events

Our school year includes meaningful events that bring students, families, and teachers together. These experiences strengthen relationships and create lasting memories.

Ecological Worldview

Students learn through outdoor experiences and holistic exploration of the natural world. This fosters wonder, responsibility, and connection to the environment.

Nurturing Environment

Teachers provide individualized attention in a supportive setting. Children are known, valued, and encouraged as they grow personally and academically.

  • At Treehouse Nature School, we recognize that every student learns differently. We provide tailored academic support to help all learners succeed while maintaining an accelerated, engaging pace of instruction.

Small Group Intervention supports students within the classroom as they work to master specific skills through targeted instruction. Reading and Math Specialists provide additional support in small-group settings, with ongoing progress monitoring. Our Special Education Class offers core instruction for students who benefit from accommodations, while still participating in the broader school community. In addition, Small Group Tutoring is available through our team, offering focused academic guidance during one-hour sessions.

Together, these support options ensure that each student receives the instruction and encouragement needed to thrive academically.

In Music, students develop rhythm and expression through singing, movement, and simple instruments. Physical Education encourages coordination and teamwork through outdoor games, hiking, and active play. Our nature-based STEM experiences invite students to investigate science through garden studies, insect observation, weather tracking, and building simple structures outdoors. These enrichment opportunities support well-rounded growth and help children discover new interests through exploration and experience.
